Custom Packaging Lead Times Explained

For a luxury brand, timing is everything—launching without packaging is a nightmare. This guide breaks down the realistic timelines for custom packaging production in 2026, from initial design to doorstep delivery.

1. Design & Prototyping (3 - 7 Days)

The clock starts once you provide your artwork. We first create a 3D digital mockup (24h). Then, we produce a physical structural sample. This stage is crucial to ensure the fit and finish are perfect before the machines start for the bulk order.

2. Mass Production (10 - 15 Days)

Once you approve the sample and pay the deposit, we enter mass production. This involves printing, laminating, die-cutting, and for rigid boxes, hand-assembly. Our 30,000 sqm facility can handle orders up to 50,000 units per month, but smaller orders still follow this 2-week cycle.

3. Shipping & Logistics (5 - 35 Days)

Shipping choice depends on your budget and urgency:

• Air Express (DHL/FedEx): 5-8 business days. Best for launch-critical stock.
• Air Freight: 10-14 days. A middle ground for larger volumes.
• Sea Freight: 25-35 days. The most cost-effective for large bulk wholesale orders.

4. Avoiding Peak Season Delays
